The Viso Family

Originally from South Philadelphia, moved to Delaware County in 1989. Anthony Viso began his career as a baker in 1974 at his cousin's bakery, The Cake Box, in South Philadelphia. It was in his blood, his grandfather being one of the original Termini Brothers. Two years later he began working for Weinrich’s Bakery, another bakery located in South Philadelphia, and purchased the business in 1977. Weinrich's Bakery then became Viso's Bakery. Anthony had much success with his business but in 1985 his mother fell ill and he decided to sell the bakery. He continued baking at his original store, then known as Potito's Bakery, until December 2006. Anthony had been out of the business for two years and decided to start all over again. This time however, he has added 'Family' to his business name since he is now in business with his children, Donna, Joseph and Robert. The hope is to begin a family business that will last for many generations to come.
